It's Christmas Cupcakes!

I love Christmas cupcakes. I think for Christmas it is important for you and your family to make what ever
passed down traditional cupcake recipe is your favorite. My family loves red velvet cupcakes. I think the red is dreamy with the sparkles and really who doesn't love sparkles?

Get out all of your ingredients cupcakes.

And sugar is and butter...does it get any better then that?

Still working on a acquiring a mixer but my little trust hand
mixer gets the job done just fine!

Got to make it really red to hang with Southern Red Velvet Cupcakes!

I got the cute cupcake liners at Bakeitpretty. I love that site!

Perfect dark red now we just got to let them cool...

Hurry up and cool already!

Whipped up some homemade cream cheese frosting and now for the fun
stuff! Disco Dust!

Still working on my piping techniques but don't you just love
cupcakes?

These cute little snowmen I found at Costco last year and the
awesome plaid tray (is addicted to all things plaid) I found at
Target this year on sale for FIVE dollars.
If you are looking for a great recipe for cupcakes I used Martha's Cupcakes Book for this one. I love you Martha!

  3. Disco dust is inedible plastic craft glitter, not meant to be used on food.

To keep something edible, edible glitter made from gum arabic, sanding sugar, or gelatin should be used.
